For over 45 years, Cook’s Corner has been a part of daily life here in Sterling, Alaska. What started back in 1978 as a simple roadside stop has grown into a trusted hub for travelers, local families, guides, and hardworking Alaskans. Through every season and every story, we’ve been here — fueling the journey, feeding the community, and keeping folks ready for whatever comes next.
We were proud to be the very first espresso stand on the Kenai Peninsula, and we’ve been pouring Kaladi Brothers Coffee ever since. Today, the menu’s a little bigger but the mission’s still the same: serve up hearty, honest food that hits the spot. Whether it’s our breakfast burritos before a long day, a sack lunch packed for the river, or a soft-serve cone on a sunny afternoon — everything we make is built for the road.
But Cook’s Corner is about more than just what’s on the plate. It’s where locals swing by for fuel, grab their hunting or fishing license, and catch up with familiar faces.
